ABOUT REMNANT
Pastor Israel Olvera has been in the ministry for over two decades, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for serving. Pioneering his first church in 1999, Pastor Olvera's vision for seeing the lost come to Christ and developing disciples has come to life at Remnant Church. He has pioneered and grown multiple churches across California, Arizona, and Mexico.
Growing up in Mexico, Pastor Olvera has seen first hand the lost and the broken. At age 4, he witnessed the senseless murder of a young man. The years after were marked with more trauma and pain. It was in 1984 where he encountered the love of God in a service he only attended by chance. Over the last 30 years, he has dedicated his life to serving the needs of others through Pastoring, teaching and sharing the same message of hope that saved his life that night in 1984.
During the pandemic, Pastor Olvera and the Remnant Church Council prayerfully made the decision to move to operate the church solely online. This move was to eliminate any geographical barriers for anyone that desired to be part of a Church community. It is important for the Church to come together in worship, fellowship and community. Remnant Online allows that by leveraging technology, driven by the word of God.
